LYRA by Nozo will host a limited two-night tasting experience this December, and we’re pleased to announce a distinguished guest appearance on one of the evenings. On Thursday, December 26, renowned sommelier and wine specialist Katsuyuki Takahashi will join us for an exclusive wine pairing session.
Takahashi brings more than two decades of expertise from his work at the Furano Grape and Wine Research Institute, where he oversaw everything from cultivation to production. He is also credited with helping to create Japan’s first ice wine to meet global standards—an achievement that established him as one of the region’s leading voices in winemaking. Today, he continues his work as a sommelier, enologist, German wine specialist, and wine consultant.
On the evening of December 26, guests will enjoy a curated selection of wines chosen by Takahashi, paired with thoughtful explanations and insights drawn from his years of experience. This session will be hosted at Nozo Hotel’s Kashiwa Function Room.
